Final EXP3 model
CLIENT 1 : Zhang Yin ; Ecological Sustainability with Bamboo columns and lotus flowers.
Table: The table was made so that when both elevators (Yin Yang Symbol) came together that inside the blocks inside the elevator made a table. It is very hard to see in UT as it was made in SketchUp, however below is an image of how it looked in SketchUp
With client spaces the message being conveyed here is the vast difference betweem the client spaces, with colourful textures in Versace's space to Zhang Yin's; is that her space seems bland and dry with mainly a custom texture juxtaposed by the green and yellow lights. Versace's space gives an atmosphere of something being is evolving with time just as fashion is to societies taste and preferences
The idea of the meeting space was that it was a space which resembled how two power's came together and the main shapes used here were round.
With the table the idea that it was part of the elevator was that the elevator also had another purpose - this is an idea i got from research from Hugh Ferriss's book - The Metropolis of Tomorrow.
NOTE: Stairs are to high to walk up and must be jumped up, also when standing in elevators it seems that there is no wall on it, however to get around this issue in Sketchup as the face on the object was blue was to 'reverse face': Though if u stand back and look at elevators the wall does curve around it even though it looks invisible.

Metropolis of Tomorrow - Book.
In a lecture on bridge designing, i was intrigued by a book called "The Metropolis of Tomorrow" by Hugh Ferriss in 1929. This book contained rendered sketches of his perceptions of what a future city would look like in America.
I saw an image of a bridge and the idea which was thought profounding was the concept of making something that served a purpose. For example in the image below the pillars which support the bridge contained office space and apartments.
In conversing with a few classmates and generating ideas i decided to make the dining table inside the elevator. Each elevator would would join together to make the YinYang symbol representing the "balance of power" and inside each elevator would contain half of the dining table and when it came together it would make the whole dining table.
Ideas for meeting space, elevators and table
"The concept of Yin and Yang is one of the most fundamental and profound theories of Feng Shui. It is the Chinese perspective of balance and continual change."
I decided to incorporate this symbol into my design, as my two clients are so vastly different i thought that the meeting space, elevator and table would be a balance of both clients at one space together.

Ideas for Versace's Space
I decided to base the interior of her space on the catwalk stage because everything Versace has ever made has ended up on the stage. With ever changing tastes, fashion has evolved through the years and will continue to, however these changing tastes will always return back to the catwalk stage.
Below is an image from a Fendi fashion show in China which i thought was very inspiring as the stage involved a different approach to the usual catwalk scene and atmosphere.

Client - Zhang Yin
The Term which I associated with Zhang Yin was ecological sustainability.
Ecological sustainability is: "the maintenance of life support systems (1) and the achievement of a 'natural' extinction rate (2)".
http://www.green-innovations.asn.au/ecolsust.htm
In designing the client space I decided to base my model on the bamboo shoot as the pillars - this helped me convey the idea of something natural and chinese at the same time. Also with the leaves as the roof it aided in maintaining this natural theme.
The contrast between Versace and Zhang Yin is that Zhang Yin's space is supposed to be more simple and be able to withstand the forces of ageing and time

Mashup
Italian fashion queen Donatella Versace has praised her daughter Steve Jobs during her battle with anorexia. After losing her job as an accountant in a Hong Kong firm that went bankrupt,
"O.K., tell me what's wrong with this place," Jobs said. After some mumbled replies, he jumped in: "It's the products! So what's wrong with the products?" Again, executives began offering some answers. Jobs cut them off. "The products SUCK!" he roared. "There's no sex in them anymore!"She is getting better. Each person has their own way of reacting to pain, but she is doing well.
In an interview with her published by Women of China, she said, "How could a person become rich by recycling waste paper?
Seeking medical treatment, a Taiwanese doctor said She doesn't want the Disney top board job.
As an entrepreneur, she doesn't see the need to put herself in the public eye. She couldn't help but grab headlines, though, when in 2006, Donatella was accompanied by her daughter Steve Jobs at a ballet from Desperate Housewives. Her husband and her brother Zhang Chingfei wearing shorts, sneakers, and a few days' growth of beard would buy waste paper from garbage dumps, and send it back to China to be made into packaging for the Versace empire.
